Not at the moment. We're focusing on the Raven in white. However if you'd like to see future models do let us know your preferred colour and style here.

Are there any design differences between the women's and men's models?
No, there is no difference between women's and men's models at Aviary. All our shoes are unisex. The only variation is the sizing standard, with different size charts to ensure the perfect fit for all feet.
What is LWG Gold Certified leather?
LWG Gold Certified leather refers to leather that has been produced by tanneries that meet the highest standards set by the Leather Working Group (LWG). The LWG is an international organization that assesses the environmental compliance and performance capabilities of leather manufacturers. To achieve the Gold certification, a tannery must excel in several key areas, including:
- Environmental Management: Implementing robust policies and procedures to minimize environmental impact.
- Energy and Water Usage: Efficient use of resources, including significant reductions in water and energy consumption.
- Waste Management: Proper disposal and treatment of waste materials to prevent pollution and minimize landfill use.
- Chemical Management: Safe and responsible use of chemicals in the leather tanning process, ensuring they meet or exceed environmental regulations.
Leather that is LWG Gold Certified is considered to be produced with the highest environmental standards, making it a more sustainable and eco-friendly choice.
Our tanneries say they go above and beyond the Gold certification, and say if there was a Diamond level they would achieve it. The Aviary team has inspected the tanneries and can attest to this!
How does the leather age?
The cowhide leather used for the upper construction is treated with a process called tumbling. This makes the leather very supple and flexible so they're ready to wear without any break-in required.
As the leather ages the leather will slightly give and mold to your feet, making them even more comfortable with time. It is natural for the leather to develop creases and uniquness as it ages, making them feel more authentic and personalised.
Where and how are Aviary shoes made?
Our shoes are designed in Sydney, Australia & handmade in Vietnam.
We partner with ethical manufacturers who are Fair Trade certified and who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and fair labor practices. All our leather is LWG Gold Certified and have been inspected by the Aviary team.
How do I maintain my shoes and keep them clean?
We highly recommend using cedarwood shoe trees to maintain the shape of your shoes and absorb moisture. Cedarwood shoe trees help to prevent creasing, eliminate odors, maintain leather integrity, and extend the life of your footwear.
For cleaning we recommend lightly wiping the leather with a damp cloth, baby wipes, or a leather cleaner & conditioner. Avoid submerging them in water and always air dry. For the sole, you may also scrub with a brush.

Can I return or exchange my Aviary shoes?
Yes, we accept unworn and unused products within 14 of receipt. Reach out to us here along with your order number.
